COVID Coupons

Hello friends.  As we are all in a stay at home situation, we are stuck at home with no place to go and lots of time on our hands, that we try to pass by watching TV, scrolling through social media and absolutely not cleaning. Maybe you're now starting to feel a little bit grumpy and your roots are showing up and your feet desperately are in need of a pedicure.

If you've been delaying it or being hesitant, now is the time to start going natural with your beauty and body routine.  Perhaps you want to switch over to natural deodorant, opt for a vegan and natural mineral makeup, start an Apple cider hair rinse, or switch over to organic natural hair dying.  To encourage you and get you started we are offering a 30% discount on all things hair dye including organic Indigo cassia and our 2018 Jamila henna powder.

Henna and indigo can be used to create a variety of tones from coppery red to jet black when used with natural hair dye. Our 100g packets are enough for shoulder length hair, but if you have tight curly or longer hair you may consider doubling or tripling up your batch.

Here is how easy it is to get started; first head over to our website and use coupon code SelfCare to save 30% on your order of indigo, cassia, amla and Jamila henna powder.

When you receive your order, be sure to read through the instructions, and ask questions before you get started.

You will need a bowl, spoon, some rags or newspaper to lay down, an old t-shirt, and some oil or balm.

  1. Start by mixing your ingredients together with warm water.  You want the paste to be nice and thick but manageable. There is no rocket science here and you really don't need precise measurements, but about 230 to 250 ml of water per 100 gram packet should be plenty.
  2. Once everything is mixed up, slap on some oil or balm on your ears forehead and neck line so that the natural hair dye paste does not stain your skin.
  3. Put on some gloves dip your hand into the bowl and take out a nice portion.  Plop it on your hair-- make sure you massage it all the way from root to tip.
  4. Start at the back of your neck, and work your way forward, being sure to cover all your strands. It helps if you section your hair and put them up into pins or clips before starting.
  5. Once you have applied  make sure all over your hair covered up with some plastic this helps keep the moisture in toothpaste and will help you get a nice deep dye.
  6. Now here comes the fun part switch on some TV Hulu Netflix HBO whatever your go sit back and relax leave this mixture in your hair for as long as possible.
  7. When you're ready to wash it off bend your head over the sink and rinse out your hair until the water runs clear.
  8. To help you use a little bit of natural conditioner to help get all of the paste out of your hair. Skip the shampoo if you can or go ahead and shampoo but that's optional.
Don't forget to use coupon code SelfCare to save 30% on your order of henna, cassia, amla and Jamila 2018 henna powder.  Coupon expires May 31, 2020.
