Doing hennaa body art is not only therapeutic and calming but it can also create a revenue stream. Apart from knowing the basics of doing henna designs, here's a little secret that every artist should know in order to take your henna game up to the next step. Learning how to do finger designs.
Finger designs are really crucial in henna body art because they helped form the base of a henna design.  Finger designs are unique in the sense that you can get you can tell a story with your henna design just by incorporating your finger designs.

You can have symmetrical henna finger designs, asymmetrical henna finger design, identical finger designs, or mix match of  designs.  The Mixed-Up finger designs are one of my favorite elements in applying henna body art. In today's Workshop tutorial, I will go through five reasons why every henna artist should know how to do finger glove designs.

First of all finger designs are the easiest designs to apply especially if you were doing finger gloves. This is because designs only have one thing in common--filling up the fingers with designs no matter what elements you are incorporating.

Secondly, there are no rules guidelines are concepts with finger glove designs - just fill up the fingers. For finger glove designs, you pretty much come up with small design elements that will completely cover the finger. A combination of balanced elements really make this design flow while looking bold. For example you can use a combination of floral elements with geometric crosshatch or lines.

Third, you can apply an Identical type of design on every single finger, which means you only had to come up with one unique design and repeat it for other times in order to create a beautiful bold design.

Four, finger designs are a great addition to any central design or motif that you have on the hand. For example if you have a pretty mandala or paisley on a center of the palm or back of the hand, you can simply add identical finger designs in order to make that entire hand design more intense and bold.

Finally, finger designs are your choice. You can have a finger design going just down the middle finger, creating a real bang for the finger. Or you can opt to have a finger design going on just two or three of the fingers. The best part about finger designs is that they are your choice and a little piece of your own art.
