Recently, I have been playing around with my point and shoot camera.  While I do not have a professional SLR, it is still fun to play with the different settings that my Sony point and shoot does offer.

Along with taking some creative photos of the recent henna work I have done on myself, I have also been experimenting with photo editing.  Although I am using basic, and free editing software, I think it makes a huge difference!

Here is an example of a photo I took on an overcast day inside.


And after a little bit of editing, changing a few things, and cropping.... I came out with this:

Notice the warm and even skin tone, and the brightness of the henna paste on the skin.

Here is another example.  this one I have made into a black and white image.  Very pleased with the results!
