This week's Workshop Wednesday features a progressive drawing of a floral and paisley motif.
Progressive drawings are a way to teach beginner henna artists the way an artist's thought process works when drawing a henna design or motif. This paisley and floral motif is a simple one to do, and can be varied with many different elements. Filling in the paisleys with different shapes can give the design a geometric, intricate, or simple effect. Similarly, shading in the flowers or paisley shapes can give the whole design a bold, yet detailed feeling.
Enjoy!
