Henna affirmations part 1

Affirmarions are a way for you to remind yourself of the goals and dreams you want to accomplish. An affirmation defined is the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed. An affirmation is a statement that provides emotional support.

When stating an affirmation, it is stated in the present tense. The concept of doing affirmations daily is to remind yourself of what you want to achieve, however, instead of stating them in the future or with a hopeful tone, the affirmation is stated in a matter-of-fact manner. The affirmation is then a statement of what you wish to accomplish. For example, instead of saying "I am going to" succeed in such and such, an affirmation is stated in a way that you already have accomplished your goal. "I have succeeded" in such and such.

When doing henna, it's important to remind yourself about your goals in the art form. Is it for artistic reasons, for business reasons, for pleasure, or a mix of it all?  As a professional artist, it is sometimes hard to keep your eye on the prize.  We often get bogged down with other daily responsibilities, other jobs and tasks, or lose sight of our goals. In order to help all henna artist keep their eyes on the prize, we will be featuring 30 days of affirmAtions.

Each of these Affirmations are positive and positioned on a beautiful henna design or drawing. When a person sees something they love (henna in our case), along with a positive message, they are more likely to remember the image. More important than the image is the message of the image.

We hope you will follow along every week for 30 affirmations.

Cheers!
