Botanical Name: Melaleuca Cajeputi
Description: Cajeput essential oil is very effective in helping to release the henna dye molecule (lawsone). It has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. It has been historically been used as part of traditional medicine.
Aromatic Scent: Cajeput Essential Oil has a fresh, camphorous aroma with a slight fruity note. The odor of the oil has been stated to resemble the combined fragrance of camphor, rosemary, and cardamom.
Uses: Mix with henna powder for body art to help your henna release dye, or use for aromatherapy.
